I recently stayed at Fonte Santa in a beautifully decorated hotel that blends in perfectly with the scenic surroundings. The gardens, swimming pool, and overall atmosphere were excellent, providing the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The comfortable rooms and friendly staff made for a truly restful experience. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff behind the bar were incredibly helpful, recommending local attractions and serving fantastic local wine. it was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy all the comforts of a great hotel.

Wonderful surroundings, located on a peaceful landscape. The beautiful garden and pools, together with the social areas of the hotel provide great opportunities for relaxing. The restaurant offers quality and innovation while promotes local traditions and gastronomy. The staff is very welcoming and always available to help when asked for. The thermal facilities located some 100m from the hotel are very pleasant and have been recently re-qualified offering spa services at a very affordable price.

This hotel was the perfect choice for my city break! its location was spot-on, with easy access to both city center and surrounding areas. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide range of fresh and delicious options to choose from.

The lack of variety in the pool bar menu, which offered very limited options. the size of the rooms was smaller than expected, which made it a bit uncomfortable to move around with baggage.

Excellent, very quiet and peaceful hotel with an harmonious use of modern and traditional furnishings and decoration.. Everything in the hotel was of the highest class -and worked perfectly, the rooms are immaculate and in excellent condition. The impressive swimming pool and extensive well kept grounds are beautiful and are definitely 5 star class. Although the area is quite isolated we would willingly return if we were in the region, an excellent quality hotel to wind down in before starting a holiday! Please write at least 15 words

As it is an isolated region most of the staff only spoke Portugese (very little English, French, Spanish or German!), menus etc., are only in Portugese which encourages you to try to communicate in the language of the country but can also be quite frustrating when choosing your meal. The front desk were effecient but, probably partially because of the language problem, were not overly welcoming. More literature for guests in other european languages concerning the thermal baths and other activities in the region would be helpful. Portugal is a very traditional country but the management could 'lighten-up' a little which would, in turn, help the gusts to relax and enjoy their holiday

Great location near various tourist attractions and comfortable rooms with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was satisfying.

The buffet lacked variety and freshness, and the wine selection was limited and low in quality. The pool area was also not well-maintained and needed attention.

This is a quiet place, perfect to rest and relax. The staff is professional and also very friendly. Please note that you could stay in the hotel since it has everything that is needed however to get around a car is a nice to have.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! The pool was refreshing and the bar had great drinks. Our room was spacious and comfortable for our family. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed visiting nearby attractions like Monsanto. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
